Profile
Born in Austria in 1962. He earned a Master of Fine Art degree in Graphic Design from the University of Applied Arts, Vienna. Receiving a Fulbright Grant, then went on to earn a Master of Science degree in Communication Design from the Pratt Institute, New York. After working in the Hong Kong office of the Leo Burnett advertising agency and serving as Creative Director for M&Co. in New York. In 1993, he founded Sagmeister Inc. in New York. In addition to four nominations for Packaging Grammys, his numerous international design awards including the Chrysler Award, a gold medal from the New York ADC, and the Grand Prix from Tokyo TDC.
