Born in Turkey, after working at an advertising agency and a publishing house for several years, he established a design studio in 1979. He took up teaching at the Mimar Sinan University in Istanbul in 1989. He has had many exhibitions in countries around the world including a one-man poster show in Teheran, Iran, in 1999 and has won many awards. His poster has been chosen for an international collection and he has been a judge for various international design competitions. He is an AGI member.
