Profile
Born in Baar, Switzerland. After graduating from what is today Zurich University of the Art, in 1940 joined Studio Boggeri in Milan, Italy. The following year, returned to Switzerland and became a member of the Allianz group of abstract artists. In 1945, relocated to Milan. Besides graphics and branding for the 8th Milan Triennial, Einaudi, La Rinascente, etc. frequently collaborated with the Castiglioni brothers. Together with Bruno Munari et al., launched the "Concrete Art Movement" (MAC).
