Born in Osaka. after initially working at Akita Design Kan inc., went freelance in 1997. Established FLAME in 2001. Major works to date include: posters and a catalog for the Yokohama Museum of Art ("Yoshitomo Nara exhibition"), Art Tower Mito and Mori Art Museum: book designs for photo collections (Mikiya Takimoto, Taiji Matsue, et al.) and symbols: logos, etc. also active in exhibition layout design, signage planning, publication planning, etc. Member of JAGDA, Tokyo TDC and N.Y.TDC.
