1980年代より日本の雑誌デザインを過激に演出してきたアートディレクター、藤本やすしが主宰するデザイン集団キャップ。本展は拳銃から発射される弾のように次々と打ち出される雑誌デザイン約2,000点を展示するほか、スタジオでの制作風景や豊富なアイデアソース、そしてライフスタイルの断片を実物と写真で紹介。会期中には各雑誌社対抗卓球大会も開催。

Since the 1980s, the art director Yasushi Fujimoto has produced innovative designs. This exhibition contained roughly 2,000 items involving magazine designs turned out in rapid fire succession by CAP, the design team headed by Fujimoto. In addition, it introduced actual items and photographs illustrating studio production work, sources of inspiration, and lifestyle elements. A table tennis competition between the different magazines' design staffs was held during the exhibition period.

1973年に平凡社入社し、『アニマ』『太陽』編集部を経て、1981年退社。1983年にキャップを設立。アートディレクターとして過去に『マリークレール』『流行通信』『olive』など、現在では『VOGUE NIPPON』『GQ JAPAN』『GINZA』『BRUTUS』『Casa BRUTUS』『STUDIO VOICE』を手がける。デザイナーとして関わった雑誌は約100誌にのぼる。また、ルイ・ヴィトン、ビームス、六本木ヒルズの広告制作のADを務める。1996年にgallery ROCKETを原宿にオープンさせる。現在は表参道に移転し、アート作品を販売するstore ROCKETも併設。

Joined Heibon-sha in 1973. After working on the editorial staff of "Anima" and "Taiyo," he left the publisher in 1981 and founded CAP in 1983. His previous credits as art director include "Marie Claire," "Ryuko Tsushin" and "olive." At present he handled "VOGUE NIPPON," "GQ JAPAN," "GINZA," "BRUTUS," "Casa BRUTUS," and "STUDIO VOICE." He has designed about 100 magazines. He has also designed ad campaigns for Louis Vuitton, Beams, and Roppongi Hills. In 1996, he opened the gallery ROCKET in Harajuku. After moving to Omote Sando, the gallery opened the store ROCKET to sell works of art.
