Profile
Born in Mexico, he studied graphic design by going to Milan in Italy in 1976. After he returned to Mexico in 1977, he worked with Vicente Rojo at the Publishing company, Maderoa, which is known for having fostered many designers. Montalvo was then chosen as one of 6 graphic designers to make the ICOGRADA 25th Anniversary Commemoration in 1988. He worked as a director in the Salumo Design Offices from 1989 to 1993 primarily on cultural projects. He is currently freelancing. He is a member of System de Creadores (a nationwide creators) oeganization and Quorum & Drama Visual (a theatrical video association).
